The Contax G2 is a 35mm autofocus rangefinder built around a durable titanium body. It pairs fast, accurate autofocus with a top shutter speed of 1/6000s, aperture priority and manual exposure modes, and a built-in motor drive. The viewfinder zooms automatically to match the mounted lens, making the G2 one of the most capable and refined rangefinders ever made.

This kit includes two Carl Zeiss lenses. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 35-70mm f/3.5-5.6 is a compact zoom covering the classic everyday range, great for street photography, travel, and portraits. The Carl Zeiss Biogon 21mm f/2.8 is a sharp, low-distortion ultra-wide, perfect for landscapes, architecture, and interiors. Since 21mm is wider than the G2’s built-in finder, the kit also includes the dedicated 21mm external viewfinder, which mounts on the hot shoe.

Rounding out the kit is the Contax TLA 200, a small dedicated flash that matches the G2’s compact profile and provides TTL flash metering. Note that the flash and the 21mm viewfinder both use the hot shoe, so only one can be mounted at a time.
