Whoa baby...here it is, the ISCO 115mm f/2 lens with WORKING FSTOPS FROM f/2-f/32.
Wait what? Yep, you heard that right. This has working f-stops from f/2 all the way down to f/32. This isn't just the one-trick-pony lens of f/2.
The depth of field this lens achieves at 10-15ft is absolutely mind-boggling. While we don't recommend shooting groups at f/2, if they are all on the same plane, you could do it (but you should stop down to like f4).
What is this lens? This lens was originally made for projecting IMAX movies (movies shot on medium format film) in theaters. It is Schneider glass, Kreuznach to be exact, which makes Zeiss glass seem, well, soft. It is razor sharp. This lens was modified and fitted with real working fstops. It focuses from around 18 inches to infinity.
It’s a Pentax 67 lens mount which can be mounted to any P67 system or with an adaptor to any P645 system.
It also includes a lens hoods. Great for keeping out pesky lens flare.
