The Tiffen 80A is a color conversion filter designed to cool your image by increasing the color temperature. It is specifically used to convert 5500K daylight for use with 3200K tungsten-balanced film, preventing the heavy orange color cast that would otherwise occur when shooting outdoor scenes on indoor film.

Constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, the filter features optical glass mounted in a precision metal ring. Please note that the strong cooling effect of this filter requires a 2-stop increase in exposure for accurate results.
