The Tiffen Orange 16 is a deep contrast filter designed specifically for black-and-white photography. By strongly absorbing blue and blue-green light, it dramatically darkens skies to make clouds pop and significantly increases overall contrast in landscapes and architectural scenes. It is also highly effective at penetrating haze and atmospheric moisture for sharper distant subjects.

Constructed using Tiffen's ColorCore technology, the filter features optical glass laminated between two pieces of glass, ground flat, and mounted in a precision metal ring. Please note that this filter requires a 1.5-stop increase in exposure for accurate results.
